Vertebral Axial Decompression An innovative therapy to avoid spinal surgery.

WHY IS IT AN EFFECTIVE ALTERNATIVE?

Vertebral Axial Decompression (VAD) is a smooth traction of the cervical or lumbar spine controlled by a computerised medical system, which causes decompression of the discs and spinal nerves.

It is a non-invasive treatment, it does not cause pain and avoids surgery in the majority of the common pathologies of the spine.

Vertebral axial decompression is effective, safe, avoids surgery and allows the patient to go about their daily activities during the treatment period.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

Discover the benefits of undergoing this treatment:

  • Hydration of the vertebral discs through the gap d by the traction (up to – 150 mmHg) in the intervertebral space allowing the entry of oxygen and nutrients to the disc.
  • Improved muscle contracture.
  • Decompresses the discs, nerves and vascular packages, releasing and alleviating cervical, lumbar and radicular pain.

WHEN MIGHT IT BE APPROPRIATE?

If you have any of these symptoms or you have been diagnosed with one of the following conditions, consult your doctor.

  • Vertebral fractures.
  • Inflammatory spine diseases.
  • Spinal surgery with clamps.
  • Spondylolisthesis (above grade 2).
